There are 4 of us who need to travel from the ferry harbour in the morning to the airport for our flight in the afternoon. Our boat company has offered us a fare of 80 euro for the 4 of us. I’m wondering if this is the way we should go. Seems pricey to me and I am assuming it will be on a shuttle with many other people. Thank you for any help or suggestions you can provide.

There is an airport bus that runs from the train station to the airport. The fare per person was very reasonable. I believe a taxi should cost about 40 euros.

Thank you. Would taxis be readily available at the harbour? Would 40 euro be one taxi for 4 adults and carry on luggage?

I recall seeing taxis everywhere. However, I don't know if they charge more than pre-booked taxis. Please download the Bolt app, which is akin to Uber. I just checked that the fare should be about 36-45 euros for four people.

The bus is 8 euros per person I think so a taxi probably would make sense...though the airport bus is fine, too - it's an express bus and comfortable enough. I can't see how it would get you there faster than the taxi, as long as the schedule works out. I bought my bus ticket on my phone just before boarding, though most people didn't seem to be doing that.
