We will be traveling to Croatia for the first time in September. Does anyone have recommendations for transportation from the Dubrovnik airport to our Old Town airbnb? The host has offered to set up a driver for 30 euros but I have no idea if that is a reasonable price or not (was told taxis are 45 euros). Should we try Uber? Bus? What other options might there be?
There's an airport shuttle bus for 10 euros per person. But if there are two of you or more, 30 euros seems very worth it.
The airport shuttle was cheap. The airport is so small that the busses are ready for incoming flights. It’s highly unlikely you’d be stuck waiting for one. Still, if you have multiple people 30€ sounds like a good deal. Neither method will get you closer, you’ll have to walk to the old town from the walls.
Yup, agree with everyone else, 30€ is a good price for 2 people or even if it is just you.
Does the airport shuttle take you to Old Town, or does it take you to a bus station and then you have to figure out how to get to Old Town from there?
Its first stop is right across from the Ploče Gate, so easy to walk right into the Old Town. Last week most of the people on my bus got off there.
