Transportation from Dubrovnik airport to Dubrovnik?

Hi, I’m traveling in early October. I’m wondering if anyone could kindly offer insight on how to get from the Dubrovnik airport into town (near Ploce)? I understand there is taxi, bus shuttle, and Uber available. Recommendations? And where to go to find them at the airport as well as pricing? And will we need euros or kunas? Also, our departure plane is very early (6:30 am). What’s the best option for securing transportation from where we are staying back to the airport early morning?
Thank you!

I flew into Dubrovnik and followed the signs to the spot where I got on the bus. The ride takes 30-minutes and drops you off outside of the old town. It was very easy. I also took the bus back to the airport.
You can take a taxi too but check the bus schedule times when you get there which will be more accurate than on some website.

The Airport bus leaves 30 minutes after a flight arrives. It costs €7.50 with.cash only being accepted. There are ATM machines of various Croatian banks right by the bus ticket booth.
Spectacular panoramic views for miles while approaching Dubrovnik’s Old town if you sit on the driver’s side (the left side) as the bus takes a road that is high above the Adriatic. The bus drops you off near Dubrovnik’s Ploce Gate.

We took a cab. I don't remember the cost but it was not expensive. We prefer using cabs so we don't have to handle our luggage.

6 Sept 22 son Ian & I took a cab from the airport to Ploce Gate 300kn. At the gate we were met by a porter who trucked our bags and led us thru the old city to our VRBO apt overlooking the ancient wall 400kn. Would have been nearly impossible to carry our bags and find our fine apt. Also employed the porter to truck our bags to the Pile Gate 10 Sept to meet Ermin, our driver to Mostar then Split (see Steves Croatia re Ermin and his wife, Alma.) ab
