Transport from Bled to Zagreb airport

My Eastern Europe tour in July ends in Lake Bled, and I plan to spend a few days in Dubrovnik afterwards. My return flights to the US are from Zagreb. I see round-trip flights from Zagreb to Dubrovnik on Croatia Air which seem the quickest way to get to Dubrovnik. Does anyone have recommendations on how best to travel from Lake Bled to Zagreb's airport? Thanks.

I imagine the shuttle company [GoOpti][1] can do this for you. Several forum posters have used that company for trips in Slovenia and northeastern Italy. I've read no complaints. You might have a choice between a specific pick-up time and a company-determined pick-up time that you wouldn't learn about until perhaps the day before. The latter, if available, would be quite a bit cheaper but probably wouldn't fit with the rest of your plans.

The public-transportation route would be:

Bus from Bled to Ljubljana bus station. (Or, alternatively, a taxi.)
Bus or train from Ljubljana to Zagreb.
Bus from Zagreb bus station to airport. (Or, alternatively, a taxi.)

Bled is not far from Ljubljana. As of 2015 a taxi would have cost only 30 or 35 euros. I don't know what the going rate is now. The bus doesn't take all that long, but of course a taxi would be faster.

There's not much difference in Ljubljana-Zagreb travel time by bus vs. train. The trip takes about 2-1/2 hours, I think. The bus station in Zagreb is a lot more heavily used than the train station, so it might be easier to get a taxi to the airport there.

For what it's worth, Zagreb is a very nice city. Very much worth a day or two, or three.

Appreciate acraven's detailed options. Might try the shared option from GoOpti to avoid all the 'legs' but just posted a question to see what GoOpti users recommend. Thanks again.
