Transfers/Tour Guides for Croatia

My husband and I had an amazing trip to Croatia in 2016. By our recommendation, my parents have finally decided to go for a week that they are adding onto a trip to Italy. They have had a hard time finding a tour through their favorite travel agent, so I am helping them instead. I have found lots of transfer services and tour companies with good-great reviews on tripadvisor. I would love to know if anyone has any advice. My parents are not as adventurous as me and my husband and they like to be coddled.

We had a great experience with Dubrovnik Riviera Tours on a wine tour to the Peljesac Peninsula, and they are able to do tours to Montenegro, or even drive the, all the way to Split or Korcula.

I am sure we can help but please let us know what area they will visit. In one week they should concentrate on North or South depending on where in Italy they will arrive from.

Just sayin--I found English more widely spoken in Croatia than Italy, and the public transport is superb. If it's only a week, there is no need for a tour. Of course if that is their preference, that is fine, but I just wanted to put out there that Croatia is an exceedingly easy country to travel in.

If they are in the Split area, I can't praise Dream Tours enough:

Petar organizes small group day tours to a variety of destinations and each trip can also be booked as a private tour. It also looks like he can arrange transfers.

I visited Croatia with my mother (in her early 60s) a few years ago and took Petar's group tour to Krka National Park. It was a perfectly small group - just four tourists and Petar that day - and we got to see so much. Not only did we get plenty of time for swimming at Krka (an absolute highlight of our two weeks in Croatia), we had time to stroll through Sibenik, enjoy a wine tasting in a small village, and stop for beautiful photos along the way. It was a truly wonderful day.

While I was in Croatia I used Ivan's service, found him on TA forum and he was recommended a lot, also you can look up about him just searching for his name online. You can contact him on email: ivanmik96@gmail.com
