Transfers from Split Airport to Hotel in Split

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to figure out the best way to get from Split Airport to Hotel Luxe near old town Split. I found a company called Jayride,
and I can book a ride ahead of time. The problem is that they have a cancellation policy of 48 hours prior to pick up. That doesn't help me if our flight is delayed. Can you please give me suggestions for transfers? Does Uber work there?

Bus service is best, walk out of the terminal to main parking lot and you should see several buses in the lot just to your left. Walk over and ask which bus goes direct to old town marina and you should be directed to appropriate bus. Cash only and prefer kuna, should be about 40 kuna per person.

We used this service and were pleased with the efficiency and expense.

The bus arrives at a station at the port marina.

Upon arrival at the marina stay on the same side of the road as the bus station and walk towards old town. In about 300 yards you will come to a traffic intersection with a small park on your right on the corner. Keeping to your right you will walk about 200 yards and find the hotel on the same side of the street on your right.

Enjoy!

We don’t use such services often but don’t they ask for flight numbers and times? I think they monitor the flights and adjust accordingly, or did once for us. I think a hotel in Italy knew more about our arrival time than we did.

Thank you so much for your helpful suggestion. I could not have asked for better directions than that!

Hello! We are staying at Hotel Luxe in September and I believe for a small fee (about $30) they will pick you up from the airport. We have found the concierge to be very helpful there. Whenever we have emailed them, they have gotten right back to us.

Just a heads up, I contacted Hotel Luxe and the fee for the ride is 38 Euro. My husband & I will be staying there in Sept also. :)

Excellent! Take the hotel transfer and make friends with the driver to learn of his local non-tourist recommendations for places to eat, shop and experience. Be sure and press him a bit on NON-TOURIST places where he eats. BTW, Croatian wine is superb and an experienced not to be missed.

Use the hotel--they'll take care of it. Also uber does work--we used and it was very clean and just like at home (the app).
