I will be starting our September 2024 Croatia trip planning in the next few months. In my mind I was planning on doing a week of it sailing like we did on a 3 week trip to Greece. We had a private charter and that’s what I was planning again. Just want to get peoples thoughts and opinions on doing it there and what experiences anyone had with a great charter company if any.

I have sailed in Croatia several times. It is one of my favourite things. And going in september you can avoid some of the crowds.
I've done it using several charter companies, and have never had a bad experience (unlike in Greece). Just don't go for the bargain basement. If you do a bareboat charter one person will need a sailing licence, and a VHF licence. I've always chartered bareboat.
My experience is that Croatia a lot easier than Greece, as facilities are better. Better equipped yacht harbours, lots of moorings etc... But that also all comes at a price. And the area is very popular (but going in september mitigates that a bit).
