Sunday in Dubrovnik

I have a Sunday free in Dubrovnik as a second day of a small boat cruise there. It seems there are so many things closed and am looking for some off-the-beaten path things to do. I love to walk and use public transportation. In reading, there was a Sunday Flea Market in Lapad, but no recent news if this is still around. Any ideas?

It's not off the beaten path, obviously, but if you have not already done so, you can walk the walls. Or take the cable car to the top of Mt. Srd for a meal, drinks, and to enjoy the views. I think there is a museum at the top, too.

I highly recommend visiting War Photo Limited inside the walls. This museum is an exhibit of war photography. There are two floors. On the top floor is the permanent exhibit of the Yugoslavian Wars of the 1990's, which is very interesting and informative. It helped me to understand a little bit better what this complex war was about. There were actually separate but related wars/conflicts, which I found confusing when the war was happening because there were so many different ethnic groups involved. There are temporary exhibits on the first floor that change every year. When we were there in 2019, the temporary exhibit was about the Vietnam War. The current temporary exhibit is about the Ukrainian War.

We also enjoyed the 14th century Franciscan Monastery.
