We have reserved a place in the in/near the town of Vranovača. They say it is @ 9 miles from the entrance 2. Not knowing the roads would anyone know about how long about this would take or should we look for somewhere closer. We plan on going in the afternoon to lower Lakes and then the next morning to the upper?

Vranovača is just to the south of the park along the same road. It's a two lane road but well maintained, so it shouldn't be a terribly long drive, maybe about 15-20 minutes depending on location and baring something unusual. Parking for entrance 1 is only a few minutes further north from entrance 2 along the same road.
