I’m taking a 10-12 day trip to Croatia in late May/June and want to use Dubrovnik and Split as my base cities.
Do you recommend starting in Dubrovnik and working my way to Split or starting in Split and working my way to Dubrovnik?
I plan to do a number of day trips from each. Thank you!
I don't think it really matters that much. I might base my start and end points on the flights you can get to/from each city. Sometimes there's a better flight one day vs. another.
Really depends on what else you want to do. Do you want to go to Zagreb, Sibenik, Zadar, Istrian Peninsula? Start in Dubrovnik and go to Split. What about Plitvice or other parks?
Do you want to go to Montenegro (Kotor bay)? or to Mostar? Maybe Split first.
