Stari Grad

Any recommendations for lodging in Stari Grad. Has anyone stayed at the Apolon Heritage in Stari Grad?

"Stari Grad" means "old city". So, without any notion of the city in question, we have no way of saying anything about hotel accommodations. This is one reason why getting a little bit of the lingo is helpful.

Stair Grad does mean old city, but it is also the name of a city on the island of Hvar

I always stay in the inland villages close to Stari Grad, so I can't comment on Apolon's rooms, but I know that it was fully refurbished 3 or 4 years ago and it's restaurant is excellent, with views over the harbour from its terrace.

Many thanks! We are two older couples and one of us needs handicap accessible lodging (no stairs, walk-in shower) and we've been advised that the town of Stari Grad would be more likely to have accessible accommodation than Hvar which is on a hillside.
