We arrive in Split and have a day to kick around town. We have one more night there. Currently our TA has suggested a day trip to the Krka Waterfalls. I'm wondering if we want to day trip by Ferry to Korcula instead.
When we leave Split we head to Hvar, then to Dubrovnik. Thoughts?
It’s sort of in the wrong direction, as the catamarans that ply these waters stop at Hvar and Korcula en route from Split to Dubrovnik. So. I would add a stop in Korcula on the way. If you have the time, you could do a day trip to an island closer to Split, like Brac.

You can first go to Split, then Hvar ( 1-hr) then Korcula (75-85 minutes). then Dubrovnik (1:55). If you don’t have time to overnight on Korcula, you can still see Korcula Town where the Krilo catamaran docks before continuing by boat to Dubrovnik the same day. There should be a new high-speed ferry running this season which will add more boats to the schedules. www.CroatiaFerries.com
Go to Krka, it’s a nice relaxing day. Visiting Hvar or Korcula, one island visit will give you a nice overall take on Croatia.
