My nonstop flight to Dublin on Croatia airlines leaves at 7:30 AM. How early should I get to the airport? I'll have luggage to check. 5:30 AM? Ugh!

I had to fly out of Split years ago at 6am, because my original afternoon direct flight to Paris was canceled, so I had to fly via connection in Zagreb instead at 6am! I think I took the first airport shuttle bus from the bus station at the port to the airport, maybe at 3:30am, got there before 5. At least at that hour there was little traffic on the roads, so it was a quick bus ride.
Split's airport is small, but you are leaving the Schengen Area and checking bags, so two hours ahead is probably a minimum. I am guessing you will have plenty of time though if you get there that early.

Today I left Dubrovnik for the airport at 5:15 am and arrived at the airport in30 mins for a 7:25 flight. Easy. The lines were 12 people deep and moved fast We sat around for an hour after offer and a muffin. It just depends on time of year. Our driver said I peak season it can take 3.5 hrs to get to the airport
