Sleeping in Hvar

We will be Hvar in May for 3 nights. Checked RS suggestions on sobe apartments but can't get a review on any other source.
Would anyone have a suggestion on some of the best places to stay?
Has anyone stayed at Ivana and Pasko Ukic apartment, or Apartments Nona?
Thank you in advance.

Marie, I don’t know anything about either - and wouldn’t send anyone to where I stayed. I mapped Apartments Nona and all I would say is check carefully for the number of stairs and how you will get to wherever you choose.

Thanks a lot. I read also about all the noise at Vila Nora. Not for us.

I stayed at Heritage Hotel Dea Hvar and would recommend it for the handy location, the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the excellent breakfast made-to-order. The owner wanted to know which ferry I was taking, so he could meet me at the ferry to walk with me to the hotel. He offered to carry my suitcase, but I just had a backpack.

For my caffeine stop after checking into the lodging, I walked to the nearby a tiny pastry shop, Glôd, which has beautiful pastries.

For dinner, I ate at the Adriana Hotel’s outdoor restaurant with a front row view as the huge expensive yachts kept coming into Hvar for the night. It’s amazing how they can park them in tight rows as if they were compact cars! My waiter was very nice to me (which I especially appreciate when traveling solo), and I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent dinner!

Update: I see you’re concerned with noise. I could hear the noise from a distance until I shut my window. The place has been remodeled/updated, and the windows were good ones.

I just returned from Hvar, rented a lovely Airbnb called Blue Sea, the host was Frane. Yes there are stairs, however you can take a taxi from old town/the end by the supermarket to the street above the Airbnb and walk down in less than two minutes. Has a view, washer, patio, 2 bedrooms, air con. They greet you at the ferry and help with the bags thru the alleys to the place, it's all up hill. Super clean, I would stay there again. J

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I was able to get reviews of Lea Kragojevic and there were great. So we will be staying there.
