Hi all,
I'm closer to pinning down an upcoming trip (mostly w/o car) in late May from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik. I'm seeking feedback on my "final" itinerary.
It has very been hard narrowing it all down. My biggest FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is around not seeing the islands/beaches between Split and Dubrovnik, however everyone has told me that the sea temperature won't be prime time for swimming in late May.
A big reason why I am going to Montenegro for a couple of nights (mid trip) is because the transfer from Mostar to Kotor is simpler than using public transit to get to somewhere like Korcula. I added a full day to see the beaches in Montenegro to ease my FOMO around not seeing Croatian islands.
Also, I'm prioritizing a lot of time in Bosnia and Herzegovina because the culture and history seems so rich and I'd prefer not to rush through Mostar w/o spending the night. While I don't necessarily need to spend 2 nights in Mostar, that's the current plan, as I have not had luck finding the right tour company to do a "transfer tour" of Herzegovina countryside en route to somewhere like Split, Dubrovnik or Kotor (Funky Tours says they don't have availability, and a lot of tour companies seem to not support single travelers to book these tours).
Thanks for any advice you might have.
