Our plan was to bus from Rovinj to Rijeka and from there take the ferry to Dubrovnik. However, the ferry from Rijeka to Dubrovnik has been discontinued in 2015. We must now fly from Rijeka to Dubrovnik with only a single flight on Fridays departing at 9:15, which means we must spend the night before our flight in Rijeka. Can anyone recommend a hotel close to the Rijeka airport (which is on the Island Krk)? Or, perhaps a hotel in or near the old town of Rijeka within walking distance of the bus station from which we would have to take a taxi or nearby bus to the airport.
