We read somewhere that is is great to rent a boat and enjoy the Croatian coastline from a boat. We wanted to see if there are any affordable options for this which we can do without breaking the bank. We will be visiting Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik so I guess we can do it from any of these places. This will be our first trip to Croatia and we are not very familiar with the boat/ skipper thing. Probably not what you were thinking of, but in Hvar, we rented a motorboat for the day, just a small v-hull with a 5 horse outboard.
Took it out to the small islands just off Hvar town, explored some bays, snorkeled. sunned, had a picnic, a great day.
If you are thinking bigger, start by searching for day charters, or even boat tours in any of those places.
