Recommendations for private tour guides

We are looking for a guide in Dubrovnik and Montenegro, who might also take us to Split. Ideally the guide, or agency, would arrange transportation from one place to the other and show us around and then take us to Split. Can anyone recommend someone?
Thank you

Dubrovnik Riviera Tours. Petar Vlasic.

We used him for two day tours and he was great. He had a nice BMW, he was a good driver, he gave us history, politics, and funny little asides as we drove. He stopped for baked goods and snacks, his English was excellent, and we would use him again. We did a Mostar day trip with him and a second day heading over to Montenegro.

We used Petar also for a day trip but used another tour guide for a 2 day trip to Medjugorje and Mostar. He lives in Split but is from the Mostar area. He picked us up in Dubrovnik for our trip. We then used him to drive us from Split to Zadar. His name is Mate Perajica. His email address is mateperajica@gmail. His rates were very reasonable. His English is perfect and he has a wonderful sense of humor. He went above and beyond for us. While we were driving to Medjugorje, one person in our group had a bad toothache. He was got on the phone with a friend in Medjugorje, arranged for a dental appointment that evening, drove my cousin, stayed with him to translate (the dentist did speak English though), drove him to the pharmacy for a prescription, then drove him back to the hotel. My cousin had a bad tooth infection. It literally saved our vacation.

I read about Julija Antunovic on TripAdvisor, and I contacted her to drive us around the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. She wasn't available the day we needed her but she recommended her colleague Stjepan. I don't remember his last name. He was excellent. He told us about the history of Croatia and Montenegro, and he made the day so much more educational and fun. A very warm and friendly young man. We did not meet Julija, but I know she gets excellent reviews on TripAdvisor.

Thank you for the suggestions. I am looking for a private tour in Dubrovnik. I will definitely check these out. Since I am late getting started I welcome more suggestions in case of unavailability.

Barbara, I tried to email Mate as you suggested but either his email address has changed or he is no longer in business. If you know how to reach him another way please let me know. As I put on my past I am looking for a private day tour out of Zagreb for July 8. A local guide would be perfect. Right now I am frying in Sarajevo because unfortunately we have been in the midst of a heat wave since I arrived in Croatia and is continuing in Bosnia and promises to follow me to Zagreb in a few days. A tour in an air conditioned car would be most welcomed. Suggestions always appreciated.

We are doing a Montenegro day trip with Petar out of Dubrovnik in September. I asked him about a day trip out of Split and he said he doesn't work there and his friend that used to is no longer doing it

I forgot to add .com at the end of mate’s email address. Try it again.
