Just finished a week long crewed charter, arranged by FairWind. We have traveled extensively and each trip is meticulously planned by me. In all of our trips I have never encountered a business during our travels that is such a pleasure to work with. Ivana at FairWinds was patient in explaining my (many) questions, always professional (yet congenial), extremely thorough in her follow-up (even taking personal time to provide her insights on what I should consider for other places to visit during our Croatia trip) and very solution-oriented when there were unforeseen obstacles (our intended boat was damaged the week prior, but Ivana accessed a good alternative for us).
As well, as our Charter Manager, Ivana matched us with an exceptional crew; Gloria Lindeman as our hostess and Goran as our skipper. The delicious and beautiful meals that Gloria prepared were restaurant-quality and Goran made sure that we secured excellent mooring sites so that we could easily come and go to take walks in the picturesque ports. But in addition to being so proficient at their jobs, both Gloria and Goran were kind, fun and easy to spend time with. They were the perfect “ambassadors” to help us appreciate the real Croatia and all of her hidden gems and delectable foods.
