We loved staying in Lovran. It is on the Istrian Rivera and is very beautiful. We stayed at The Villa Vera hotel (wonderful) and ate at the Kali restaurant (also wonderful) up a long hill in the town about 5 km south of Lovran. One of the restaurant owner son speaks excellent English and helped us select great dinners (we ate there twice).
