We are planning a trip to Korcula and will not have a car on the island. Looking for a local guide who offers private tours so that we can visit wineries, local producers and see the island. We do not wish to be on a group tour and in our past trips have found that experiences with locals are what fits best with our travel style. Any recommendations and experiences would be much appreciated. Suggestions for accommodations while on the island would also be very helpful. Thank you!

Try looking at toursbylocals.com They give you a description of the tours offered, the length, And the price. They have bios of every tour guide with pictures. You can also customize your tour. We used them in Split for 6 people and we had a wonderful, local, tour guide who was very informative, patient, and answered every question.

We took a tour through the Tourist Office and were pleased. We had a driver for the four of us although I think they could have added 4 more people to the tour if there was need so at least small group.
You might look at Dubrovnik Riviera Tours as well, for a tour of the Pelješac wine region. Easily reached from Korčula..

I can't recommend a local guide. We were in Korcula in 2018 (RS Adriatic Tour) and stayed at Hotel Korsal. Lovely hotel across from the beach. Quiet location, well appointed rooms, excellent breakfast. We would stay there again. Our favorite restaurant was Nonno. Fond memories of this special island.

Many thanks to all for your suggestions. We have engaged the services of Petar at Dubrovnik Riviera Tours for another tour, so I will contact him about wine country as well. Safe travels!
