Private Car Service Recommendations from Rovinj to Venice

Hi,

I am traveling with my husband from Rovinj to Venice on June 11, 2025. I was hoping to catch a ferry, but Venezia Lines stopped service and Adriatic does not depart on that date. I don't mind spending the extra money on a private car service, but want to choose the best one. Daytrip is coming in as the most expensive. Two runners up are Theeuroroadtrip and Transferro. Another option, Go Opti doesn't get consistent reviews and looks like you may end up sharing a ride. Has anyone used one of these services?

I also need advice as to where to get dropped off in Venice. I am thinking Santa Lucia train station might be the best option, but I don't know if they allow cars.

no cars in Venice - the closest a car can get is to come all the way over the Liberty crossing and put you down at Piazzale Roma, which is nearly across from the station.

Why do you want the station? If it is to get on a train you save your driver a round trip on the Liberty crossing and s/he can put you down at Venezia Mestre station on the mainland. Or if you are getting on a train right away there may be even a shorter route for them - they could drop you at Trieste as soon as you are in Italy.

Thanks to the advice I have received, I have booked car service using Daytrip with a 60 minute stop in Grozjnan with a drop off point of Pizzale Roma in Venice. Although pricier than other options, they have the best reviews and customer service. Thank you both!

Ive used them a few times now with no problems at all. When you throw in a stop like you did I think the value really increases as its more like a tour (but not exactly as the driver just drops you off).
