We will be arriving to our hotel near Plitvice on a Sunday afternoon in mid September. I am wondering if we need to book our tickets now or can we wait. My preference is to enter the park on the Monday morning based on the idea that there would be fewer people there on a Monday versus the weekend.
I also have read somewhere that you can reserve tickets but pay when you arrive. Has anyone done that?
After spending some time at the park we will be driving to Zagreb.
Any advice is welcomed!

I don't think you need to book them now, but I would definitely plan on booking
them before you go, at least a few days ahead, but maybe when your travel plans
are certain. Tickets could sell out.
