I am preparing to purchase our timed tickets for only one day in Plitivice during the last week of September. We are driving from Split and will be arriving around noon and have the rest of the day in the park.. I realize that this is not the ideal time of day for a visit and it will be crowded, unfortunately we have no flexibility in our schedule. Am I correct that tickets purchased online are for Entrance #1? I'm looking for insight on the parking situation at that time of day, realizing that it can be unpredictable. Is all parking within the park, or are there options outside the park, but within walking distance? I want to make sure that I leave ample time to find parking while staying within the window of our timed tickets. Any suggestions, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m not sure how crowded it will be in September. I was there in late October and found plenty of parking at entrance #1. Parking outside the park would entail a long walk and cut into your limited time.

I parked at Entrance 1 and I feel like I saw parking at Entrance 2. Even those have a bit of a walk and outside the park would be even more. I don’t know if there’s a bus but I think so..
