Peljesac Peninsula - winery tour

We will be staying in Dubrovnik for several days in August. We'd like to dedicate a day to wine tasting in Peljesac. We prefer for someone else to do the driving. All of the tours I can find have two problems for us:
- They all include a stop in Ston for oysters. We will have already done that on our cruise and don't want to repeat this.
- We lived in CA for many years and really want to go to Grgic Winery, but the tours don't seem to go there.

Wondering if anyone has taken a private tour with a customized itinerary and if so, can you recommend one? There are many private drivers for hire, but we want someone who knows the best wineries and has relationships with them so we can taste a good variety.

Ok, regarding wineries in Peljesac.
have visited at least 15 and this is general idea (cant go into too many details, not sure about market/not market rules).

Grgic is in small village Trstenik, has a great view and fine wine. They offer 2 local wines and zinfandel fro California in an more expensive tasting. From there make sure to visit the Dingač. It is actually wine growing slope near Potomje village. I could tell you at least 3-4 nioce wineries in the area, but what local told once, you cannot fail in any , just try to visit small family winery to get this "special touch"..

  • there is a great wine in Korcula islan, if you have one extra afternoon

-it is possible to actually go to this steep wineyard where they say terrific wine is, plavac mali, same sort as in inlands but gives completly different taste on this mountin

ps bonus: think about wine grk lumbarda, the only i know of that grows in sand and not soil, specific taste, best in the village on Korcula. actually grows in the beach (200 meters from the sea).. also , it is white wine

Yes! We toured with Petar Vlasic, and he is phenomenal. This is his website: https://www.dubrovnikrivieratours.com/
Petar was very open to our requests, and stopping at Ston was only an option. If you have any interest in pursuing a tour with him, I would suggest you contact him ASAP as he does book up quickly. He is one of THE best guides we have ever had in our travels.

Thank you all! I've reached out to Peter. Hopefully he'll be able to help us or refer someone who can.
