You can now drive or take the bus from Split to Dubrovnik without having to go through the border crossings for the small bit of Bosnia and Herzegovina thanks to a new bridge.

I know, but we sure will miss getting our Burek to eat and doing some quick duty free shopping. The shop owners and restaurants in Neum were complaining their incomes will be affected starting last Tuesday when the bridge officially opened. As a bonus for drivers, there is no toll on the bridge.
