A driver from Rijeka picked us up in Zadar on August fourth and drove us to Split. I left my jacket in his car. His name is Ivan. How do I get in touch with him?
How did you hire him?
We hired him through The web site MyDayTrip. He was great. He showed up on time and was friendly.
Contact the company, but I thought the drivers gave their phone numbers to clients? Regardless, company knows, not us.
We did contact the company, and are waiting for a reply. The driver did not give his telephone number, but we are inexperienced travelers and probably could not have called him. I asked for his Facebook name, but I could not find ivancvri on Facebook.
See if MyDayTrip is on Twitter and tweet them. Sometimes the public appeal makes things happen quickly.
We left my wife’s purse in an Uber in Zagreb and an hour later we contacted the driver (who looked and talked like Gru from the Despicable Me series!) via our Uber app and he drove it all the way back to us and would not take a dime as a reward. The Croatians pride themselves on integrity, civility, and just being honest. I was floored. It’s like the USA in the 50’s.
