Mostar to Korcula by public transport

We are staying in Mostar for one night in July and then looking to travel by public transport to Korcula town. We're trying to be efficient with our time. It seems as if we can get from Mostar to Ploce by bus (about 2 hours), then passenger ferry to Trpanj. Trpanj - Orebic seems to be either by bus which I've read is somewhat sporadic now??) or by taxi (about 25 minutes) and then from Orebic to Korcula town by passenger ferry. If we make all connections etc seems like about 5 hours?

Has anyone done this journey? Any tips? Would you recommend booking the taxi ahead of time? Anyone have a good recommendation? Thanks!!

There is a bus that does this route (will use the ferries you have already found most likely). Never used it but read about it:

Buses in Croatia itself are very efficient. You can get a direct bus from Mostar, which will be easier than trying to tie together various forms of transport. Having just googled it, korculainfo.com seems to answer your queries.

Thanks to both of you. I've looked at the centrotrans site and it's not giving me an option for July (22nd to be exact). Anyone know if it's just too early for the July schedule?
