When traveling in Croatia, do you prefer a rolling suitcase or backpack?

Hi, first, there’s no right or wrong answer. It’s each person’s preference. I took a Cotopaxi 35L backpack type bag and was very happy with it. I do know that some of the locals get tired of the sounds of the wheels across the stones. Our local guide in Dubrovnik during the Rick Steves tour mentioned it.

As Jean has said, it's a personal preference. My preference is my lightweight spinner. I do not like having a pack on my back.
Do what works best for you. How will you be getting around? Buses, trains, taxis, walking?
Most important, unless someone else is handling your luggage, keep the size and packed weight manageable for you and pay attention to airline weight and size limits.
