Korkyra.info for door to door, Korcula to Dubrovnik

It seems that instead of taking a passenger ferry from Korcula to dubrovnik,
It is possible to take a bus! What about the water you say?
It seems there are several car (and bus) ferries from Korcula to Orebic each day,
And for four persons a private transfer with Korkyra might be the way to go.

It seems the Korkyra service is door to door,
and includes a couple of scenic stops for wine tasting and lunch.

Has anyone used this service?

I see they also do an excursion to Mostar... Comments?

Thanks!

They are excellent. Yes, its door to door. We have recommended them for years in our book. It costs more but its easy, reliable and you don't need to worry about getting up early to get your ferry tickets. I spoke with Cameron who is the co-author of our Eastern Europe books and he has all positive things to say about Korkyra. He also said that other companies offer this same service but they don't do it as well as Korkyra.

Hi, we used them last summer and they worked out well. We did compare their cost to other shuttle services when we were in Dubrovnik and they were the best value. Korkyra did offer a shared ride for less cost per person (30 Euro) that left in the morning, but if there are 4 of you they did offer a priviate car/van for about 110 Euro that will be dedicated to you. If you are not into wine tasting I recommend taking advantage of having them stop for an hour or so in Ston (45 minutes away from Korcula). Nice small town and a long wall you can walk on that climbs the hill above town.

The service is not quite door-to-door unless you are staying outside the walls in Dubrovnik, however, it is just a short walk outsie the Ploce gate (100m) to their office. Taxis are not allowed inside the walls so their office is just as good a place to be dropped off as the main gate on the other side of town where all the busses drop off.

Have fun!
