Has anyone taken the Katarina 5 night cruise out of Dubrovnik ending in Split?
We are worried that the time on shore in Korcula and Hvari may be very limited. Also wonder what is done at the first stop Tuesday at TRSTENIK.
Any other comments or thoughts are also welcome.

I am unfamiliar with this product. But we loved a longer cruise in Croatia, but that cruise line went out of business. We loved being moored directly by old city walls, with the place to ourselves after the tour busses left at 5 PM. (Perhaps a true Rick Steves reader would do that by staying in a spare bedroom somewhere .... it's a matter of travel style.) This is a country best seen by water.
I would beware of the mooring in Dubrovnik. We were ... told ... that NO ONE can tie up in the scenic marina in front of the city. Our 30-cabin cruise ship was forced to moor in the commercial port, a bus-ride away from the city of Dubrovnik. Maybe they're small enough to have a special deal. Our ship was big enough to have many organized excursions, like to Plitvice and Roman cities. Katarina looks much smaller.
Have you found any more information about the Katarina Cruise out of Dubrovnik? I am very interested in finding a cruise out of Dubrovnik.
sorry but i have not researched it further as we have decided not to do a cruise.

Linda, we too are interested in taking a cruise. We were looking at the Opajtia to Dubrovnik trip for 2016. The last time we were in Croatia we went to thier sales office and spoke to them. They were extremely nice and accommodating. We saw their ships in the ports of Dubrovnik and Korcula. They looked wonderful. We "found" the company at the NY Times Travel show last year and have been trying to work in a cruise since then. Maybe one of us will be successful soon!
