We just got back from the fantastic Rick Steves Adriatic Tour. The trip was great. No complaints, except a couple of the hotels were subpar. Not a big deal, first-world problems. Our guide was wonderful. We added two days at the end of the trip that we were really happy about. The tour hotel could only accommodate us for one extra day, which actually worked out great because we moved to the Hotel Kompas, which is on the water, for our last day and it was so incredibly beautiful and a completely different experience from the tour hotel, which is on a really busy street. The day the tour ended we booked a day trip to Montenegro with a guide recommended on this forum. She was fantastic. I can't praise her enough and thanks to whoever recommended her here originally. She even helped us to arrange transport to the airport with one of her colleagues. Here is her contact info...

It was well-worth the extra day to visit Perast and the Bay of Kotor.
Our last meal in Dubrovnik was at Pantarul restaurant, which is an easy walk from either the tour hotel (Hotel Lero) or the hotel Kompas. It was delish, but be sure to make a reservation as it gets booked quickly.
