Any hiking suggestions or resources beyond those in Rick's book - we like 5 or 6 mile moderate hikes. We will be in the Julian Alps in early June.

The Julian Alps are in Slovenia, not Croatia. I’ve hiked primarily out of Lake Bohinj. I have no idea what hikes are in the travel book as I don’t have that book. Where will you be based and will you have a car?
