Update - just need two more minor (?) suggestions/changes, and I think I have it.. I am moving from other threads to put all my thoughts together.
Day 1 - arrive in Pula at 18:00. Get a rental car and drive to B&B outside of Porcec.
Day 2 - explore Motovun and Groznjan. Something close to our B&B as we may be tired. The B&B has a pool.
Day 3 - Can we do Pula and Rovinj in the same day? They seem pretty close to each other
Day 4 - check out. We are driving to Pliticive on this day, so can still explore Istria and surrounding for the good part of a day before the 2.5 hour drive. Piran or Skocjan Caves in Slovenia?
Day 5 - Get up early and explore Plitvice. Drive to Split and drop off rental car. Arrive in Split between 3-5. Can we do much of Split in the evening?
Day 6 - Explore Split with a private tour of the Palace and found a place that does a cool lunch. Maybe go to Trogir in the afternoon?
Day 7 - Krka Falls tour with boat and a couple of other stops - this is a must since I promised my daughter we can swim in a waterfall. Andrew states I can just do the Falls and not the rest of it. Is it worth the trip there not to do the boat ride?
Day 8 - leave for Korcula. Spend night in Korcula
Day 9 - day and night in Korcula
Day 10 - leave for Dubrovnik. Afternoon and evening in Dubrovnik

Day 11 - Day and night in Dubrovnik. I am thinking of doing some sort of private sailing tour. There will be three cruise ships in that day, so will want to get out of the city. Not much I can do about that.
Day 12 - 9:30 AM flight home.
Does this look do-able? My two thoughts were:
- Does it make sense to spend one more night in Istria and cut out one night in Split? Can/should I combine days 6 & 7 together and add a day in Istria? OR, combine 6& 7 and take an extra day for a day trip to Hvar vs. an extra night in Istria? I also thought it would be nice to separate Plitvice and Krka with a day in Split, but always 2nd guessing myself.
- Any thoughts on Day 4?
- Does it make more sense to stay in Rovinj? I found a hotel that would actually work and looks great - but twice as much as the B&B and wonder if that is even worth it?
I cannot change the Korcula dates at all. I found a great place for 2 nights. Korcula is over 85% booked up right now - there is no changing those dates. I have hotels for all the other places. I would just need to shorten the B&B by one day and move Plitcive around - but there are plenty of places there. Our plane tickets are already purchased - so can't change arrival/destination spots.
