I am selecting between Hvar, Korcula, and Brac for two nights (possibly three) October 19-21 between Dubrovnik and Split. I was inquiring if anyone had experience with closures in October. I realize the weather may not be ideal but we are not beach people (love to look at it though) but more history, hiking, maybe Ebikes, food and wine.
I had read a few reports about “everything shutting down” and “too much wind and rain” in October and wanted to hear if anyone had been to the islands in October or had knowledge.

I can’t say about the weather, but at that time of year you may be able to remain flexible and play it by ear, so that’s good at least. People do live in the towns year round so I would imagine there will at least be a few places open.
If weather is good, I’d go for it!
