Has anyone been to both Hvar and Omis & Makarska and have an opinion on which place would be the best choice? I realize Omis & Makarska are two different places, but we were thinking we would see both in one day.
We are in Croatia now, and I had planned to see Omis & Makarska one day because we couldn't find out before our trip whether we would be able to get a ferry (in late April) to get to Hvar. Now that we're here, we found out we could get a ferry on that day, so now we need to make a decision which to do.
It would just be for one day, so would it be worth the time to day trip to Hvar, or better to spend that time in Omis & Makarska?
We wouldn't be doing any "in-the water" activities at Hvar since it's just April. We did think about spending some time on a Cetina River cruise at Omis.
Any help would be appreciated asap as we need to decide in just a few days.
