There will be two of us staying for two nights in Hvar. We will be going there after several days in Dubrovnik and are thinking of staying somewhere more peaceful than Stari Grad. We will have a car with us. Are there any recommendations for places to stay in Hvar that are outside of but near Stari Grad?

We stayed in a wonderful apartment up the hill (many steps) from the Ferry Dock. It was a quiet location with a great view of the harbor. The place was called Apartments Rosso. We stayed in the smaller apartment but it was very spacious. I'm not sure about parking but if you're interested in staying there, I'd check with the owner Mirka.
