Has anyone visited Hvar in early May? Does anyone know if most shops and restaurants will be open?

I was there in late May, and everything seemed open to me.

Most things will be open, but it will be quiet and the sea will be cold. The Split- Hvar - Dubrovnik catamaran starts its summer service the second week in May.
