Does anyone have a good recommendation for a hotel or B&B? I looked on TripAdvisor and the prices are expensive in Hvar. I don’t want to go over $150 for two people.

Try Stari Grad or Jelsa which offer much better value all round than Hvar town. If you are booking for summer 2018, many places are already fully booked, which is reflected in the prices elsewhere.
