Hello,
We have an early morning flight (6:30 am) from Zagre in June 2025.. Can anyone suggest a hotel close to the airport or is the city center close enough to to get to the airport?

The city is close enough to the airport. Any hotel will be fine. We stay at either the Hilton Zagreb or the Esplanade Hotel. Arrange a ride through the hotel the day before.

The airport actually isn't even located in Zagreb, but at that hour there will be no traffic.
I always use Uber in Zagreb (I go every month), which is surprisingly cheap.
Just stay in the city center. I've stayed in just about every large chain hotel in Zagreb, including the ones mentioned above. My current favorite is the Westin, as I think the location is slightly better than the Sheraton.
