Does anyone know someone who can take us to see a few islands from Hvar?

Try the tourist office. There are day boats to the Pakleni islands for example.

I haven't been yet (Sept) but looking into the same thing. Prices are high and dependent on boat. Check out Mario Rent and HvarBoats. Would love to hear back what you decide! We are only 4 people so hoping perhaps we meet another couple and can join because most boats are for 12 people (some 8)

while I haven't been yet (going in Sept) I've found Mario Rents and Hvarboats. Both offer captain and multiple boat options depending on how many people you have and flexibility in planning where to go, blue lagoon, zlatni rat beach, Vis etc. Its not inexpensive but if you have several people it seems like a good way to go.
