Help with Itinerary please. Considering:

Dubrovnik/Cavtat 6 nights with Mostar/Kravika day trip

Korcula 3 nights

Split 4 nights with Blue Lagoon day trip

Trogir 3 nights

Zadar 4 nights with Krka Waterfall day trip and Plitvice National Park day trip

Zagreb 3 nights

Rovinj 3 nights

Venice 2 nights (unfortunately over a weekend so limited accommodations)

Then onto Slovenia for how long?
Ljubljana/Lake Bled/Vintgar Gorge/Postojna Caves—how many nights each?

Please let me know your thoughts on the entire itinerary and if I should eliminate any stops or change the duration?

I have never been. Very much appreciated. Thank you.

Leaving your itinerary as is, I would take a night from Trogir and add to Rovinj and 2 nights from Zadar and add to Zagreb.
The reason being that there is much more to see in Istria such as day trips to Poreč, Pula, or Grožnjan.
Zagreb has much to offer and day trips from there also, such as Plitvice Lakes. (Don’t go from Zadar). Or stay one night in Plitvice, many posters do and they have a better visit.

Changing durations may help with your Venice visit so it is not over a weekend.

Also, is there a specific reason for staying in Trogir? Beach, relaxing time? Because it is perfect as a day trip from Split. Very small town. I travel slow but have never stayed over in Trogir.

I’ll let others answer then chime in again.

I went in 2023 and loved it SO much. We did Split, Vis, Hvar, Brac and Dubrovnik. Personally i think Split was just ok - we were there 2 days and that was more than plenty. Our favorite place was Vis - small town, not super touristy and we rented a boat there. Hvar is pretty but SUPER touristy. Brac was beautiful as well - we didnt spend much time there but wish we did. We went to a family winery which was so fun.
