Rick Steves' Croatia travel book (pg. 175) states there's a Hertz rental car office at Zadaraska 3B but it isn't on the Hertz site. The Hertz site only lists the one at the airport which is more difficult to get to. When I google the address I see various 3rd party sites listing the address, but not a Hertz site. There is one Hertz UK site that pops up, but upon clicking the link, the Hertz page comes up but it's blank. We will be traveling in mid-May, if that makes a difference.

We might have to consider that Hertz listing outdated, although the street is still transportation central. If you don't care specifically about using Hertz, you can try Auto Europe and choose from a few downtown locations, including the port, or other addresses that you can Google.

Thank you, Laura! I was driving myself crazy. Not married to Hertz as a rental company so will try your suggestion.
