I’ve found a one stop flight from Cinci to Heathrow to Split. Listed layover at Heathrow is 2:15 hours. British Airways. One ticket. That feels short. Only other option is two layovers and I have really bad luck with flying and connections. We are wanting to see Croatia and maybe some of BH and have already seen Dubrovnik and Montenegro. Too risky? Other ideas,

Should be OK. No immigration at LHR just security. Is it BA on both legs if so it will all be in Terminal 5.

Look up your flights on the Heathrow Connections pages. Chances are they will both be in Terminal 5. Worst case scenario, you will have to transfer to T3. But if on one ticket, and both with BA, you can stay airside. So you only need to clear security, not Immigration. Should be plenty of time.

Go for it. Two hours is plenty of time to account for the odd delay or long line.
