I have read so many reviews, many worrisome, about so many car rental companies that I have not yet been moved to "pull the trigger" and choose one. I feel as though it is a matter of just picking the least of the bad and keeping our fingers crossed (in addition to following all the tips one finds about renting a car for your overseas vacation on forums and from the aggregators,etc.). There is not as much mention of this company (Mack) online as. there are the other big names. I think it is Croatian. Only negative I have come across regarding it is that they seem to present dirty cars. I am particularly wanting to hear from those who have completed their travels and can share what kind of experience they had upon return of their car to the agency (like were there any hassles ,unpleasant surprises, extra charges,etc.)

Claudia, my question is , if someone has had a bad experience upon return of their rental car that they
deemed unfair and with what company . Any company can have some negative reviews but if there seems to be a pattern, then maybe it says something about the company and that would help me in making my decision. I have already read reviews but I put a lot of trust in the people here in this forum and would appreciate anything they might be willing to share.

Never been to Croatia.
If you don’t receive any feedback from Forum travelers about this company I’d look elsewhere.

Hi - we just got back from Croatia and had a very positive experience with the Mack car rental agency. I messed up my original car reservation with Enterprise and Mack totally helped us out; they were so kind, responsive and much more reasonably priced than my original Enterprise reservation. The car was also in really good shape.
I highly recommend (for context, we rented in Split and returned in Zagreb)

KD, thank you so much for taking time to share this info with me! Since I had gotten no responses to my question about M.A.C.K., my husband and I finally decided to take a chance with M.A.C.K. rentals. There was quite a bit of back and forth emails due to our having a lot of questions and uncertainties, but the gentleman with whom we communicated was very nice and very responsive and patient with us. That did a great deal to quell our doubts and now your reply adds to that. Hopefully, we will have as good of an experience as you did.
