GoOpti Shuttle - Bled or Ljubljana to Zagreb airport

I prefer trains, so my first inclination is always to take the train if it's an option. As I recall there is a direct train from Bled to Zagreb proper, but you'd have to get a bus from there on to the airport.

Although I've never used GoOpti, I have considered them a few times - they have a great reputation. They would surely cost more but would be direct at least, and I imagine they would get you there as promised. But there is some uncertainty in the timing for their shared rides - the less uncertainty you are willing to accept in your ride reservation, the higher the cost. The train + bus would be more predictable and probably much cheaper. If you chose a GoOpti shared ride, you'd need to build in a lot of extra time in to your planned arrival time to make sure you get there on time. They might get you there two hours before or four hours before...unless you pay more.

I can’t comment on the Bled to Zagreb route but from personal experience we hired GoOpti shared ride from Venice to Ljubljana in 2018. . The driver was punctual and kind. We were very pleased and would hire them again. We flew from Dubrovnik to Zagreb for our return flight. I have heard others on this forum mention bus or train options. Maybe they will chime in. ;)

We saw the GoOpti mini van in Ljubljana on Saturday picking up passengers. It was a New van, very clean, and the driver was helping them with their luggage. We will use them or mydaytrip in October in Spain. Just haven’t decided yet.

We just returned from Croatia and Slovenia and used GoOpti twice. They were prompt, car was clean and they got us where we needed to be quickly and comfortably. I booked the service months in advance and had my fingers crossed all would work out with them showing up and all worked out perfectly!
