I am going on a bike trip through Croatia and only want to get insurance for medical and evacuation costs in the event of an emergency. Thanks for your help.
Also the person I am traveling with can get it through her secondary insurance (with Medicare). I was wondering if anyone had used their Blue Shield overseas medical coverage and if it's adequate.

My Blue Shield plan is not good for overseas. Yours may be different. I purchase GeoBlue, which works with my Blue Shield. However, I have never had to use it.
