We are visiting Split and Dubrovnik in mid May. I am wondering if it would be reasonable to fly into Split from Munich and then fly out of Dubrovnik to London when we are done. Or is the opposite better- Munich to Dubrovnik and Split to London? Is it better to fly in and out of the same city or would that require too much time on a bus between the two cities we wish to visit? Thanks for your help!

Open jaw is better than in and out from the same city because you don't have to backtrack. M. to S. and D. to L. or M. to D. and S. to L. It does not matter. I would take the option which would give me better price and schedule.
