We are planning a trip to Eastern Europe in Sept. and have heard about the flooding in Croatia. Will this affect our trip to Dubrovnik,
and surroundings area? We are planning to go to Split, Mostar, Korcula, Dubrovnik, and
Montenegro, etc. ( the Best ThreeWeek Trip of Eastern Europe). Need to buy our tickets soon but are concerned about reports
that parts of Croatia has been devastated by flooding. Thanks for any advice.
The flooding in Croatia reported to date is confined to the north east, mainly along the river Sava. The sort of flooding you will have seen on the news is normally confined to inland areas, not the coast, which is where you are going. That said, anywhere can experience a flash flood.
