Ferry Service Dubronik to Korcula Island & Korcula Island to Split

Hello,

I've looked at ferry schedules for Dubrovnik to Korcula Island (one way) departing Dubrovnik May 15th; and then Korcula to Split (one way) departming May 17th. (2 foot passengers)

I'm having difficulty determining which the Port(s) the ferries arrive at/depart from. The exact routing doesn't seem to appear when looking at sites such as ferryhopper.com.

Our accommodation is near Korcula Port (Luka Korculanska Bay).

Any suggestions as to how to determine which ferries arrive from Dubronik at Korcula Port; and Depart from Korcula Port to Split. Or suggestion as to using a booking agency versus attempting to do this myself.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Could you tell us which company you are looking at? Providing links are helpful, too!

You will most likely be departing from the main port in town. The older, car ferry port outside of town is called Dominče, and schedules would say that if applicable, but I think all of the catamarans go to main town port.

You should have no trouble buying yourself online or at a kiosk if buying in person.

Another option, for Dubrovnik to Korcula, is the bus, a pleasant ride, and may offer some flexibility to schedule, but does take a bit longer.

As for ferries, there are three companies, Krilo, TP Line, and Jadrolinija. They all leave from Gruz Port, which is a bus ride away from the old town.

All of the ferries arrive right in Korcula town from Dubrovnik, since these are all passenger ferries. There are a couple other ports on Korcula, but the car ferry port near Korcula town is only used for the small ferry running between Orebic and Korcula, and the other is at the other end of the island, Vela Luka, which serves the large car ferries.

Same to Split, the smaller passenger ferries leave from Korcula town.

Thank you for both replies.

When using Rome2Rio I was redirected to ferryhopper.com and then choose one of the options. Unfortunately, it didn't state the location of the ferries so hence my question as I knew Korcula Island had two ports.

I will look into the passenger ferries as noted in the response from Paul. Thank you for that information. We are staying in Old Town in Dubrovik, so your note aobut the ferry being a bus ride away is also helpful as I'll look into the bus to the ferry terminal.
